The Zeekr 9X, a five-seat SUV from Geely, has unveiled its interior design, showcasing a focus on rear passenger comfort and innovative features. With 1.4 meters of legroom, it surpasses even the Range Rover in this regard. The interior boasts a brown cabin finish, with rear seats equipped with power leg rests, heating, massage, and ventilation functions, including a zero-gravity mode. The center seat can be transformed into an armrest with controls, cup holders, and wireless phone chargers, while a compartment box is located beneath it.
One of the standout features is the Naim sound system with 32 speakers, ambient lighting, a built-in refrigerator, and power sunshades. The use of Nappa full-grain leather and 14 pieces of natural Nordic wood adds a touch of luxury. However, some details, such as trunk volume, remain undisclosed. The Zeekr 9X measures 5239/2029/1819 mm with a wheelbase of 3169 mm, slightly larger than the Mercedes-Benz GLS.
Under the hood, the 9X is powered by a plug-in hybrid system, offering a combined output of 660 kW (885 hp) and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds. It comes with two battery options: 55 kWh for 300 km EV range and 70 kWh for 380 km. The top-trim variant takes it a step further with a tri-motor setup, producing 1,030 kW (1,381 hp) and enabling a 355 km single-charge range and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.1 seconds.
The Zeekr 9X's advanced features include the G-ASD H9 assisted driving system, an active 48V anti-roll bar, and dual-chamber air suspension. With a price range of 465,900 – 599,900 yuan, it has been a hit in China, delivering over 60,000 units and topping the high-end SUV segment for seven consecutive months. This global model is set to enter foreign markets, including Europe, later this year, promising to bring its unique blend of comfort and technology to a wider audience.
